Welcome!
I am delighted that you have chosen to attend ICOF
Colleges
and Seminaries. In doing so, you
have made a wise choice. A college education is the most important
gift you can give yourself and ICOF is an institution that is
committed to helping you achieve your educational goals.
As
you consider the wide array of educational programs and services
offered by ICOF Colleges
and Seminaries, I want you to know
that all of our faculty and staff are dedicated to your success.
You will find a caring and supportive environment throughout
this institution, and you will discover that our faculty truly
excel as teachers, and that we have learning support services
that are second to none.
We
are committed to providing a comprehensive curriculum, one that
will allow each individual to pursue his or her career choice.
To ensure a full range of options, we develop partnerships and
agreements with other institutions as appropriate, and we use
advances in technology and a full range of services to assure
access to all.
Beyond
the curricula, you will discover many opportunities for social
and cultural development in our partnership countries. These
will enrich your experience at ICOF and strengthen your preparation
for career and life goals on an international level.
Like
you, the students who attend ICOF are serious about their futures
and have come here to take advantage of all that ICOF has to
offer. Some students come to ICOF with the intent to begin here
and upon completion of their studies, continue on to ICOF's
Pastoral Development Program where they join ICOF's Colleges
and Seminaries Association. Others look to gain the skills they
need so they can be employed immediately upon graduation. Still
others enroll in ICOF to obtain a certificate, retrain for a
ministry position in their local church, or missions work in
a foreign country. Everyone, however, shares in the belief that
education is the key to a better life.
Finally,
we believe that all students should have a strong preparation
as independent learners who are intellectually competent, technologically
proficient, skilled in the application of learning, and who
share the values and common goals of our civic culture. You
can be assured that we are committed to meeting your individual
needs and to the realization of your full potential.
